We opened Waggerstown Dog Shoppe in January 2014 with the purpose of bringing high quality food and products at
reasonable prices to our customers. It is our belief that quality nutrition for your pet
is key to a long and healthy life, thus we are committed to providing only the best products to our customers.
In October 2015, Waggerstown expanded its business to add pet sitting services. We are proud to announce starting June 2018 we will be adding full service pet grooming and walk in nail trims and dremeling. We have over nine years of experience taking care of foster dogs with local rescue groups. Having fostered over 80 dogs in that time frame, and having 5 dogs of our own, you can rest assured your pet is in the best hands. We are fully insured and bonded with Pet Sitters Associates and take every precaution to keep your pet safe and happy while in our care.
English/Boston Mix. If there is trouble to get into Stewart is your guy! His favorite past time is chewing up our socks.
Pomeranian. Blaze has the sweetest and most innocent soul. He has nothing but love to give everyone. He also enjoys time on a lap with his sister Nina. He has never met anyone he did not like.
Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua Mix). Roxie loves to spend time laying in the sun, sleeping on our laps and totally ignoring her baby brother and sister’s constant wrestling.
Papillon. Nina shows us the true meaning of a lap dog. Her favorite place to be is on someone’s lap being spoiled like the princess she is.
Boston Terrier. Gabby is the sweetest little girl around. When she is not wrestling with her brother Stewart she is cuddled up under the covers in bed.
Chocolate Lab. George is a laid back guy who loves to be petted, treats, and going for walks.
Over the last 4 years we have exponentially grown Waggerstown. Because of our loyal and growing customer base, we've been able to serve the town of Wells and surrounding communities by providing high quality nutritional food and supplies for their pets.
During the last nine years we have fostered over 80 dogs. From puppies to seniors we have taken care of dogs from all stages of their lives and health conditions. Some have found new homes in a couple weeks, others stayed with us much longer. Caring for these dogs takes a lot of work and dedication. Although it is always sad to see them go, it is always very rewarding when they find their forever homes.
We opened Waggerstown to share our experience and all that we learned from caring for so many different dogs. We do our best to only stock products that work, and do so at the best prices we can offer to our customers. We respect and appreciate our customer's knowledge and experience, and are always willing to consider any of their recommendations so that we may share their success with our customer base as well.
We'll say it. We love pets. That's why Waggerstown is committed to providing quality products and excellent service to our customers and their furry families.
